Beautiful piece of piano_David Lanz_Dreams Of The Forgotten Child

David Lanz - Dreams Of The Forgotten Child

Kiss the Rain - Yiruma

It starts to rain out side, a sense of sentimental feeling in seeping into me.
Whatever will be, will be.
Let it be, let it be.

Helang Langkawi

Helang Langkawi Monument, The name of 'Langkawi' is said to derived from the words of He'LANG' and 'KAWI' , Kawi means red or brown.
Langkawi is home to innumerable brown sea eagles (Helang Kawi)

Helang Kawi caught in the action of catching fish for food.

I think it is quite rare to spot a real Helang Kawi nowadays. It is an endangered bird
and it is facing the threat of extinction.

Langkawi Perdana Gallery

Langkawi Mahsuri Tomb (Makam Mahsuri)
Perigi Mahsuri

Mahsuri was being sentenced to death for alleged adultery (berzina, 奸情)
when her husband was on war with Siamese. But she was perceived as innocent because milky
white blood gushed out from her body. Then, she  murmured and cursed the land of Langkawi
to remain backward and poor for seven generations.

"Aku bersumpah pulau ini menjadi padang jarak padang terkukur,
tidak akan makmur dan aman sehingga genap tujuh keturunan. Berpuakalah pulau ini"

That was the last words, curse or sumpah in Bahasa Malaysia ,
uttered by Mahsuri moment before her death.

Anywhere, you are the eighth generations to visit Langkawi,
Langkawi is well developed nowadays , may be her curse is diminishing and has no effect on the well-being of the livelihood of Langkawi people. Today, the people of Langkawi are having a whole new world, thanks to the development brought in by the overwhelming tourists thronging the island.

Perigi Mahsuri,  Mahsuri used to take her bath here.

Langkawi Underwater World

Gunung Mat Cincang Cable Car

Gunung Mat Cincang and Gunung Raya.

There was a myth (mitos , dongeng) on the fight between two families over the abrupt cancellation of  their children's wedding dinner.  If you want to know more about this myth. Google it yourself !

Langkasuka Hotel

My favourite chocolate, but it is not chocolate. It reminds me of my childhood candy,
sold by a street-vendor on old bicycle with an unique tint-ting-ting knocking sound as he was cycling along the street.

Day 4:
Bukit Bendera via Cable Car

Alvin, I think there is a famous Penang Asam Laksa at Bukit Bendera,
you can try to order a bowl of Penang Asam Laksa, it is a very famous food and you can't find it else where in Malaysia with similar taste.

But , remember .,... afterwards, you are going to spend your dinner time at Jalan Gurney, or Gurney Drive, it is the heaven for Penang food.
So , keep some room for your stomach for Gurney Drive's food.

Escape Adventure Play

It is a wonderful place for outdoor, adventurous activities. Thrilling and exciting.
If I were you, I would definitely try some challenging activities.
Remember to comply with the rules and safety requirements.
And remember, raining season is the most accident-prone moment.
Many people got injured during the rainy time.

Bungee Jumping 笨猪跳。 I like it, aha-aha-aha.
Make sure your wallet, smart phones and  valuables are being taken care of , just ask your friends to look after them. Just play, it is once in the life time, I think.

Visiting Shooting Site for Hong Kong Movie "Lovers" theme.
