查理被杀了，现场血跡斑斑，就在这一片“自由、平等、博爱”的天空底下。
死者查理，他不是被派到战爭火线上的军人、也不是从事宗教或政治斗爭的要角；他只是漫画家，而他的漫画，通常只是要博君一笑，虽然他刻画的对象，相当的敏感。
为此，他付出了生命。
我说的查理，不是一个人，而是那12个死者，其中10人是《查理周刊》的职员。
鎗手衝进周刊的办公室，见人就开鎗，动机就是要杀掉查理。
然后，他们高喊：“我们报仇了！”
我不禁要问：“仇从何来？”
显然不是针对特定的查理，而是针对不同的价值观――自由vs偏激，开放vs保守，少数vs多数，世俗vs宗教。
《查理周刊》存在接近半个世纪，它是一本嘲讽时事的政治漫画杂誌；杂誌的定位是自由左派。几十年来，它嘲讽的对象是权力当局，特別是右派政治，包括法国本身的白人主义、大法兰西主义；它也嘲讽宗教威权，这包括了天主教、犹太教和伊斯兰威权主义。
稍微瞭解欧洲自由左派的作风，都知道这就是他们的特质；理想和浪漫，加上浓厚的法兰西色彩――自由、平等、博爱的精神，融合產生一股挑战权力和传统的做法。
政治是权力，宗教是威权，这些自然成为《查理周刊》嘲讽揶揄的对象；而它並不是以鎗械炮弹为武器，它有的只是以漫画作为笑弹。笑弹是否有杀伤力，很多时候，还是看对方的接受能力。
用鎗弹来反击笑弹，实在不成比率，也太过血腥残暴，违反人常。
当然，连巴黎的伊斯兰宗教司都即刻发表声明，鎗手不代表穆斯林，杀人的行为不能被接受，身为穆斯林也同声谴责。
的確，宗教的极端分子属於少数，会化身为恐怖分子的，更是少数中的少数。但是，极端分子和恐怖分子，毕竟有其酝酿的土壤。
宗教偏激主义，把一切都绝对神圣化，容不得任何的置疑和反对，对嘲讽更是零容忍，哪能接受《查理周刊》的揶揄；这不是偶发事件，从20几年前鲁斯迪写了《撒旦的诗篇》而全球被追杀以来，已是屡见不鲜。
然而，法国不是哈里发国，西方不是中东。
法国的立国理想，以至法国人的理念，在於自由、平等、博爱；漫画是一种表达意见的自由，不能妥协；平等和博爱就是尊重生命，怎能被屠杀！
而近代西方，乃至欧盟的成立，它的基础是建立在融合、谅解和开放，而不是暴力、仇恨和封闭。
杀了查理，就是谋杀法国的理想，西方的根本。
杀了查理，会让更多查理站出来，今天法国人举了牌子，宣告“我也是查理”，说明他们的信念和坚持，不会被极端和恐怖所挟持威胁。

How to publish webpages via dropbox

The first thing i've published to internet via dropbox public is
Learnt words at

and it is wonderful !
Steps:
1. Select all notes i punched in Evernote in notebook called 'Learn Word'
2. Click File-Export.
3. Export as single HTML webpage.
4. Save in a specific folder, then
5. copy and paste the html file and the correspondence folder into dropbox \public\webpublishing.
6. Right click the html file and click 'copy public link' ( into clipboard)
7. Paste into my blogspot and create hyperlink for this.
8. Walla , done !

Kids drawing
Some books are good but they are printed on very poor quality papers. As
time passes, the papers deteriorate, turn brownish and torn. It is a waste
for the contents to disappear. Hence, digitalizing the contents of precious
books is the answer, to prolong the book life-span and legacy.
